Gwyn Jenkins in 2004
Gwyn Jenkins sang with
The Morriston Ophus Choir in the 1940's
and The Dunvant Male Voice Chior in the 1960's.
In the mid 1960's he teamed up with Doug Morgan
and they sang duets at many events.
They could also be heard for many years
on Swansea Sound radio.
Gwyn Jenkins won the tenor solo at the
National Eisteddfod of Wales when it was
held in Gowerton in 1980.
He was born Gwynsul Jenkins in Penllergaer in
1925 and died in March 2008.
Gwyn also lived in Gowerton and Pontarddulais.
